Hi there

I am trying to gain some performance enhancement into vzdump, so I change a
feel options in /etc/vzdump.conf.
Without pigz and bwlimit flags:

Time 00:17:06
Size: 22.26GB
Disk image: 30GB
Backup in NFS Server

With pigz set to 4 and bwlimit set to 100000

Time 00:17:18

With pigz and bwlimit it's not suppose to increase the performance or I
miss something?

(My server has 24 CPUS, 2 sockets)

Thanks

Without pigz do you then use gzip or the default lzo? Otherwise you
compare apples to pairs.

Yes. I use the default lzo.
To be able to compare you need to use gzip.

With gzip takes 00:21:51

First time I use pigz I have 00:08:42.

I don't know if in the 2d, 3th and 4th time there's some dirty cache
whatever!
