IMHO copy/paste will never work with VNC.

Some VNC implementations have dedicated buttons to move data to/from the remote clipboard. I do not know how this is done exactly. I know the uVNC is capable of the task.

You miss the problem. noVNC can also you copy/paste, but the server side (qemu) does not
implement it.

I confirm this, with openvz cut And paste works with novnc
But qemu lacks the feature
