[PVE-User] qcow vs qcow2

I mistakenly converted a bunch of vsphere (vmdk) VM's to qcow rather than
qcow2 (using qemu-img convert).

Will it make any difference to performance or features when running them?
I'd really prefer not to rerun the conversion :)
